Can I become a Model?

1. There are a few types of models

There is the runway model which is tall and very specific in looks and thin and then there is the print or commercial model for catalogs, products and commercials. The best way to find out is register on a site like YoModel and get really good photos. A supermodel will get the wow effect from experts and a catalog model will look good with standard good looks. If guys or girls say you are hot all the time you could become a glamour model if the other model types don't work for you. But in general i would say 95% of the general population if not more is not suited for modeling. So get a reality check from several experts and if you have no chance, just move on to something which can earn you money and do modeling as a fun parttime job. Most models don't earn enough for a living.
The great thing about this life is you should do what you enjoy and earn enough to live. That doesn't necessarily mean you need to live off of modeling
