Well That was NOT true for Paris Hilton. After her sex tapes were released she went on to have her own TV show, continued to be a Guess model, was on the cover of many fashion magazines and "17" magazine ( a TEEN magazine!) as well. Look at Kim Kardashian . Her claim and introduction to fame was in a sex video with Ray Ray J... do you think that that sex video hurt her career? NO! Before her Venessa Williams was in the Penthouse porn scam but that launched her career too. When Vanessa was "clean" Miss America her career went nowhere , so 1 month before her end as Miss America she released her sex photos thru Penthouse magazine and Vanessa has been on top ever since then. Look at Sasha Grey , the porn star still making porn, yet, After her feature film debut as the lead in Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience, she shifted her focus to acting, starring in the black comedy/horror film Smash Cut as April Carson, as well as having a supporting role in season 7 of HBO's Entourage. She has also appeared in independent films Quit, The Girl from the Naked Eye, Life, and Mark Pellington's I Melt With You. She is a member of aTelecine, an industrial music band. Snoop Dogg is in a deal with Disney but also produced Porn. 50 cent had a porn line, Slyvestor Stallone did porn, I can go on and on... NO its not cheap its weather you have the "look" and talent. Today there is no such thing as "bad " exposure its all about exposure. Many girls doing nudes just dont have the "look" and talent for commercial and mainstream work. So I disagree with any one that says it can "hurt" a career. That is just not true and I have given the proof that it isn't. The business is not filled with church people. Its filled with hedonists and open minded people. You either have what it takes or you dont period... and just getting attention on the street is not enough , a LOT of girls can do that you have to have that special something, exposure, and luck!

I wonder why in the states if your having a nude photos they give you bad signal and they never get you to the industry. Well actually look at Kim Kardashian.. she didnt start her career untill she appeared in an X rated Video . Vanessa Williams got no where as Ms USA but when her nude and lesbian photos appeared in Penthouse her career took off and she became a major star , Paris Hilton also . There are many many examples of girls and guys that started in the adult industry and made the transition to main stream. Inc Sasha Grey ! YOu dont lose respect any more you gain attention! 97% of models wil not be high fashion models anyway so make your fame while you are young, sexy, and stil can!

Establish for yourself a line and then do not cross it. For me it is not showing my private areas at all. I try to be sensual and erotic, with restraint. Leave something to the viewers imagination. That is the most erotic thing of all..arrange the clothes to just above the areola or pubic hair and then let the viewer imagine what is just beneath, and that is what drives them crazy. Once you show it, there is nothing left to imagine. Always keep them on their edge of their seat.

Don't think so much about "what other people are doing" or "what would people say if I do this or that".. just do what you think is comfortable for you.
People (photographers and/or clients) have different views about how far a model can go in terms of posing. There is always something for you in every category you get into.
Just do what you love and the money will follow.
